Support Diabetes

In mid-November 2005, Nick Jonas was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. He publicy revealed his disease to fans in mid-2006. Since being diagnoised with diabetes early in his life, he began to understand what diabetes was. Type 1 diabetes is a disease common, espceially now, in kids and young adults. Diabetes i a disease where your blood sugar will rise dratically, causing mood swings and appitite loss. Although not found curable, diabetes can be managed with the proper diet and medicine. Nick has inspired many kids, and even young adults, dealing with this disease, showing them that nothing can slow you down. There are many charities that help with diabetes, one in which Nick has recently started. On the recent album, Nick wrote the title track, based on his expericence in a matter of 10 minutes. Waiting for a Cure is the charity that helps mainly with, well, finding a cure, sellin guitar pick neckalces with all proceeds going to the charity. D-Mission, Nick's charity, sells dog-tag necklaces, some what like Nick's, with most of the proceeds going to his charity. Nick's Simple Win also sells dog-tags, having 2 types: one for diabetes and one for non-diabetics, with the proceeds going to charity. Each neckalce that is sold can help find a cure, so please buy. Diabetes is a serious disease that is becoming more common each day and these people need our help to find a cure for them. Just think, you would want someone to donate money for you to have a healthier life and to find a cure. Imagine yourself in Nick's shoes.
